Handyman South East only employ polite & helpful professionals. Our handymen are fully trained, carpenters & plumbers etc with multi trade capability. All Team members have the experience & expertise to carry out day to day repairs, whatever trade skill the work entails

2: How much do your services cost? 

Minimum charge including 1st half hour = £35.00 + vat

1 hour on site = £45.00 + vat

1 1/2 hours on site = £55.00 + vat

2 hours on site = £65.00 + vat

2 1/2 hours on site = £75.00 + vat

3 hours on site = £85.00 + vat

3 1/2 hours on site = £95.00 + vat

Half day 4 hours on site = £100.00 + vat 

Full day 8 hours on site = £180.00 + vat

We also do many common day to day property repairs at a fixed price

3: How can I pay Handyman South East

Personal customers
If choosing one of our fixed price services payment can be made with pay pal

If booking a handyman by the 1/2 hour payment can be made with cash

Commercial customers
Payment can be made by cheque or BACS

4: Do you do emergency work?
Most of our jobs are scheduled days/weeks in advance.
We can sometimes carry out work the same day, depending on workload and wether we have a handyman within the specified area

5: Do you work weekends or evenings?
Our normal business hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, we can sometimes schedule work for weekends, however 50% will be added to all prices, please contact us for availability

6: Do you offer a 24hr service? 
Our business hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm

7: Do you provide free estimates? 

Handyman South East offer many fixed prices on common property repairs

We can sometimes provide a guide of the time it will take to complete jobs that you expect to take less than 1 day, please go to contact and either telephone or email us your job list

For jobs expected to take longer than 1 day, we will visit the site and provide a free estimate

8: Do you supply materials?

All fixed price services include materials
If  the fit only option is chosen the price is a labour only charge & all correct materials are to be provided on site by the client

We can source & purchase materials, charges will be calculated on time taken, all materials are charged at cost + 10%

9: Are your operatives insured?

All of our operatives are covered by two million pounds public liability insurance

10: Is the work guaranteed?  
Yes, all parts and labour are guaranteed for 12 months.
We will replace faulty goods free of charge, providing all parts have been used as intended, the customer has followed manufacturers instructions and has not attempted a repair themselves.

11: How do I book a visit from Handyman South East?

To book a handyman at the half hourly rate 

Go to contact and either email or telephone us, or got to book an appointment 
& fill in the online form

To book a fixed price handyman

Go to fixed price services add jobs to your cart, check out, process payment & go to  book an appointment & fill in the online form

We will email available appointment slots in your area----

Within 1 hour
(if appointment form submitted between 8am & 5pm Monday to Thursday) 

By 10 am the next day
(if appointment form submitted after 5pm Monday to Thursday)

By 10am Monday
(if appointment form submitted after 5pm Friday or over the weekend)

12: Can I cancel my booking with Handyman South East?

Handyman South East require 48 hours notice for an appointment cancellation
Cancel appointment date with a full 48 hours notice & we will issue a full refund

A charge of £15.00 + Vat @ 17.5% will be applicable
if Handyman South East are not given 48 hours notice of cancellation prior to appointment date

13: What if on arrival Handyman South East can't do the work required?  

If due to no fault of Handyman South East, our operative cannot gain access to the property, or to the area in which a repair is required, a £35.00 + vat minimum charge will apply
We will refund any job costs that have been added to the basket

If Handyman South East cannot carry out the necessary repair due to no fault of the client, a full refund will be issued

14: Do you do gas work, are your handymen CORGI registered?
No, you will need to appoint a Corgi registered engineer for gas work

15: Are your handymen NICEIC registered? 
No, we do not do rewires, or install new cable runs etc.
We do change socket fronts, light switches, light fittings, light bulbsexterior lights etc

16: Do you use sub contractors?
No, all Handyman South East operatives are PAYE and work directly for us. All of our team members are extensively interviewed and thoroughly checked.
The company mission is to attain repeat business from all of our customers by offering a polite, efficient, professional & competitive service on every visit. Each of our handymen are made aware of this before we employ them

17: Do you carry out large contracts?
No, our original idea when we formed Handyman South East was to carry out all necessary day to day  repairs on site at any one time efficiently & competitively.
All our staff are polite, well equipped  operatives with the ability and experience to cure problems irrespective of the trade skill required. 
   
Handyman South East are essentially problem solvers, specializing in general day to day property maintenance repairs across varied trades

Handyman South East can sometimes service areas not on the list.
However we may have to add additional charges to cover travel time and fuel
